I will post your gifts later in the week!
Jan, you were the big winner!
My dear friend Bobbi just redecorated her whole house...it looks so cute!!! I helped her make some curtains and pillows and then I painted a few things for her too! This is a big tray for her to sit on her ottoman to make it more like a coffee table. We did a big W in the middle for their last name and then a verse around the edge...As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! Her fabric in the living room was a paisley pattern with lots of fun rich colors...so that is what we did all over the tray!
These little table and chairs are one of my favorite things to paint! This one belongs to the Duke Family! They have two of the cutest little girls! The circle with a "D" in the center has a little gold crown off the the left of it! That was Leah's idea and I loved the way that it turned out! I hope you sweet girls are enjoying your new table!! (i know jack and sammy enjoyed sitting at it while we had it at the house!)
I painted the top black with a black and white checks around the edges...
Each chair was painted black with circles on the seat...each circle has a T in a different font...very fun! (Their last name is Trumbly)
The legs are my absolute favorite! Renee wanted each section of the legs to be different...polka dot, leapard, stripes...she has such a fun style!
Hope you are enjoying your new table Trumbly Family!
This is a small armoire...Jaime loves harlequin and the girl's room is done in black and cream paisley/damask fabric, black and cream harlequin, black and cream polka dot, and accented with hot pink and lime green....When she sends pics of it all together I will share...I am sure that it is ADORABLE!!!
The armoire and the dresser together... I painted harlequin on the top of the dresser and on the doors of the armoire...the armoire had a fun paisley design all over the sides of it...so did the dresser....lots of fun to paint!!!!
This is by far one of my favorite pieces!!! Not really what I did to it or anything...just the dresser itself!!! I LOVE this dresser....Bob and I wanted to buy it from her and keep it for our house! It was such a pretty piece of furniture!!! It even looked pretty when she brought it to me all sanded down and bare!!! Perfect for a little girls room....or my room!!!!
We took the boys to the zoo on Wednesday! The boys had a great time and mom and I got a great workout pushing that huge stroller!! Here is Jack giving his little brother a big hug!
Jack carried this net around the zoo...when I was packing the bag he ran in and said "mom, don't forget this...I am going to catch a flyin' speckled frog!!"
MiMi with her two favorite boys!
Notice the shoe is off...this is the last picture that we have with the shoes on...we lost the shoes, a pair of sunglasses and the lens cap to my camera...all in one trip to the zoo!!!
The boys and MiMi eating our picnic lunch! MiMi told Jack the day before to make sure that mommy made the sandwiches in the shape of animals (she always did stuff like this for me when I was little!! on land run day one year I had little oklahoma shaped sandwiches!!! )....well, on Wednesday morning I realized I didn't have any animal cookie cutters....jack said "well mom, you better get out your scissors!" I finally found a butterfly cookie cutter...kinda girly, but it worked!
This is the big project that I was working on for my friend Amy...it's an armoire that is in their living room! The front has almost like a crest painted on it with a big S in the middle and a crown on top! Super fun!!! Her house is very fun and whimsical, so it looks darling with all her fun furniture and decorations!
The sides are painted black and white checked with flowers all over it! This is my favorite part of the whole thing!
This is another project that I did for her a while ago...Her girl's bathroom is so fun! A circus/carnival kind of theme...she wanted a pictue that looked like the little photo cut outs that they have for kids to put their heads through to take pictures...It was so cute how she put pics of the girls behind it!
Here are a few of the little scripture tea towels....I cannot make them fast enough to keep them in the booth! They are a great gift for under $10....They come in several different colors......each of them have a polka dot background with a chocolate brown cross and the verse "Taste and see that the Lord is good." I also made a little jewelry this week... there are a few of the necklaces in this pic
This is a table that I just painted for Ginnie Raymer...she makes BEAUTIFUL drapes, pillows....you should go by the store and see her stuff! It is so pretty! Hope you are enjoying your new table Ginnie!
This is a dresser that I painted for a new little store in town...Tee For the Soul & Friends...It's a really cute store and if you live in the area e-mail me and I will give you directions! Lots of fun stuff!!!
I have been making these crosses too..they are all very similar, but no two are the same. This one is black with gold accents and has lots of fun goodies on it...vintage sheet music, a gold crown, old sheet from a book....
