I just painted this table last week for my friend Brittany Martin.
Brittany and I have been friends since we were little bitty girls! We met through dance at Kim Massey and have stayed in touch ever since!
She has two darling little girls and this is their Christmas gift...Brittany looked for lots of pictures of colors and ideas and sent me what she liked....
that always makes things so much easier!!!
Each chair had a different design with M's in different fonts....

The top was my favorite!
I hope Ellis and Audrey are lovin' their new table!

Whitlock's tray

My dear friend Bobbi just redecorated her whole house...it looks so cute!!! I helped her make some curtains and pillows and then I painted a few things for her too! This is a big tray for her to sit on her ottoman to make it more like a coffee table. We did a big W in the middle for their last name and then a verse around the edge...As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! Her fabric in the living room was a paisley pattern with lots of fun rich colors...so that is what we did all over the tray!

another table...

These little table and chairs are one of my favorite things to paint! This one belongs to the Duke Family! They have two of the cutest little girls! The circle with a "D" in the center has a little gold crown off the the left of it! That was Leah's idea and I loved the way that it turned out! I hope you sweet girls are enjoying your new table!! (i know jack and sammy enjoyed sitting at it while we had it at the house!)

A fun dresser

I painted this fun little dresser for our sweet friends Paige and Dusty!
I love the color! She picked a Robin's Egg blue color and then we did a fun paisley design on each side! I hope you're enjoying your new dresser! I can't wait to see it with everything else!

This table and chairs is one of my very favorite things that I have ever painted! The family is ADORABLE and their house is one of the cutest I've ever been in!
I painted the top black with a black and white checks around the edges...
Each chair was painted black with circles on the seat...each circle has a T in a different font...very fun! (Their last name is Trumbly)
The legs are my absolute favorite! Renee wanted each section of the legs to be different...polka dot, leapard, stripes...she has such a fun style!Hope you are enjoying your new table Trumbly Family!

more painting!

My friend Jaime is definitely keeping me busy these days! She dropped off her kitchen table and chairs and a small kitchen hutch to be painted last night....here are a few pictures of some furniture that I painted for her twin girl's room a few weeks ago! This is a small armoire...Jaime loves harlequin and the girl's room is done in black and cream paisley/damask fabric, black and cream harlequin, black and cream polka dot, and accented with hot pink and lime green....When she sends pics of it all together I will share...I am sure that it is ADORABLE!!!
The armoire and the dresser together... I painted harlequin on the top of the dresser and on the doors of the armoire...the armoire had a fun paisley design all over the sides of it...so did the dresser....lots of fun to paint!!!!

This is by far one of my favorite pieces!!! Not really what I did to it or anything...just the dresser itself!!! I LOVE this dresser....Bob and I wanted to buy it from her and keep it for our house! It was such a pretty piece of furniture!!! It even looked pretty when she brought it to me all sanded down and bare!!! Perfect for a little girls room....or my room!!!!
Hope you are enjoying your new furniture Jaime!!!

A table for the Greene Family

This is a fun little project that I painted for my friend Nicole last week...it's a child's table with two chairs! She wanted a verse on the top, lots of color, and a G on each seat in two different fonts...this is what we came up with!
a scripty G in a fun blue color on one
and a typewriter style G in red on the other!

On the top of the table we put 1Timothy 4:12 in a fun font...the legs were checkered and the top was split up in four sections with leopard, stripes, paisley, and polka dots! It was lots of fun to paint! Hope you are enjoying your new table Houston, Cole and Ava!

1st Trip to the Zoo

We took the boys to the zoo on Wednesday! The boys had a great time and mom and I got a great workout pushing that huge stroller!! Here is Jack giving his little brother a big hug!
Jack carried this net around the zoo...when I was packing the bag he ran in and said "mom, don't forget this...I am going to catch a flyin' speckled frog!!"
MiMi with her two favorite boys!

Notice the shoe is off...this is the last picture that we have with the shoes on...we lost the shoes, a pair of sunglasses and the lens cap to my camera...all in one trip to the zoo!!!
The boys and MiMi eating our picnic lunch! MiMi told Jack the day before to make sure that mommy made the sandwiches in the shape of animals (she always did stuff like this for me when I was little!! on land run day one year I had little oklahoma shaped sandwiches!!! )....well, on Wednesday morning I realized I didn't have any animal cookie cutters....jack said "well mom, you better get out your scissors!" I finally found a butterfly cookie cutter...kinda girly, but it worked!

Painting

This is the big project that I was working on for my friend Amy...it's an armoire that is in their living room! The front has almost like a crest painted on it with a big S in the middle and a crown on top! Super fun!!! Her house is very fun and whimsical, so it looks darling with all her fun furniture and decorations!
The sides are painted black and white checked with flowers all over it! This is my favorite part of the whole thing!

This is another project that I did for her a while ago...Her girl's bathroom is so fun! A circus/carnival kind of theme...she wanted a pictue that looked like the little photo cut outs that they have for kids to put their heads through to take pictures...It was so cute how she put pics of the girls behind it!

Another pic of the finished project....

New Items

I have been BUSY making new things for the booth (Serendipity Market) and the store (Tee for the Soul & Friends)....Lots of fun new things... I am also working on a BIG project for my friend Amy...hope to have pics soon! It's taking me forever because it is too heavy to move...so I have to go to her house here and there when I am not busy with the boys! (sorry Amy!) Here are a few of the little scripture tea towels....I cannot make them fast enough to keep them in the booth! They are a great gift for under $10....They come in several different colors......each of them have a polka dot background with a chocolate brown cross and the verse "Taste and see that the Lord is good." I also made a little jewelry this week... there are a few of the necklaces in this pic
This is a table that I just painted for Ginnie Raymer...she makes BEAUTIFUL drapes, pillows....you should go by the store and see her stuff! It is so pretty! Hope you are enjoying your new table Ginnie!

I love this! It is a really fun little toddler chair for the kitchen! You can't really see it very well in either picture but it was leopard around the edge of the seat, gold, red, black and white checks, blue/turq ... lots of fun!

Here are all the things that I took up to the booth this morning...a fun little table, the toddler seat, some fun chunky jewelry, and the tea towels!

Family Planners

These are a few new products that I have added to Pink Ink, also...they are laminated and you can use a dry erase marker on them. There are several different designs to pick from, but here are 3 of them.... I am hoping to post some chore charts soon too!

Painting

Thought I would share a few things with you! I have been painting... a lot...lately! Here are a few of my favorites....
This is a dresser that I painted for a new little store in town...Tee For the Soul & Friends...It's a really cute store and if you live in the area e-mail me and I will give you directions! Lots of fun stuff!!!

I have been making these crosses too..they are all very similar, but no two are the same. This one is black with gold accents and has lots of fun goodies on it...vintage sheet music, a gold crown, old sheet from a book....

This is a tray that I painted for my mom. Her kitchen has really pretty light colors, that fun kind of robins egg blue, the walls are a yellowish color and lots of tan, cream, and a little bit of pink. She also has a lot of black and white checked Mackenzie Childs dishes...the inside of the tray is blue with glaze over it and then the two ends are leopard, on one side I did a bible verse and the other side I added "MiMi and Poppy" then I added black and white checks along the top...it turned out perfect for her kitchen!

This is a little table that I painted for my sweet friend Amy! She bought it red and we changed it to pink with a little bit of gold....it's all distressed and has a glaze over it...I can't wait to see it with the knobs on it! She was going to add some crystal knobs! I bet it looks super cute!
